Picture Day is Thursday, September 21st. All students will have their picture taken. Only those that bring payment will receive pictures. Make up pictures are on October 26th.
We are excited about our Direct Donation Fundraiser here at Orchard. 100% of the funds donated will stay at Orchard and will be used to support our students and teachers.
Please come and participate in our Parent Teacher Conferences on October 4th and 5th. Keep in mind that these two days will be common days. Sign up under the “Information” tab and “Online Scheduler.”
We are excited for the upcoming school year. This year the Skyward Student Information Update includes three new important provisions with regards to Student Data Privacy. We highly encourage you to complete the Student Information Update for each student prior to school starting. We encourage parents/guardians to thoroughly read through the provisions for steps 5 and 6 to understand the implications of the choices presented with regards to student data privacy.
Students will not be able to use the school computers or internet until the Student Information Update is completed in their behalf (steps 5,6 specifically). The Student Information Update option will be available on Aug 1 at this Skyward link.
The Student Information Update is accessed by logging into Skyward (parent account only) and selecting “Student Information Update”, selecting the student and completing the ten steps for each student.

Join us at our Dance Festival on May 23, as we celebrate all of our accomplishments this year. It will start on the berm behind the school at 9:30 am.
We will be holding field day activities outside on May 19. Please make sure your child wears clothing and shoes that will be appropriate for these activities.
Here keep these dates in mind for upcoming Spanish Immersion Applications for current Kindergarteners looking to apply for 1st Grade Spanish Immersion the 2017-2018 school year:
- Parent Information Meeting – Jan. 24 5:30-6:30 pm in the Orchard library
- Applications are available on the district website on January 30, 2017
- Applications are due February 24, 2017
We will be holding a School Community Council meeting on Tuesday, January 10, at 3:45 pm in the library.
